Permission Granted - student accommodation comprising 67 studio apartments

Residential Nottingham NG1

GraceMachin has obtained planning permission for a 67 apartment student development within Nottingham’s Creative Quarter. The site is in a popular location on the edge of the historic Lace Market.

By engaging with Nottingham City Council at an early stage, we were able to progress positive discussions with the Council’s planning, conservation and urban design team.

The scheme will deliver a high quality and sensitively designed new development, which respects and reflects the background Conservation Area setting.

CGI renderings of the proposed student development

This exciting development includes a residents Café and Games Room supporting the ‘high quality’ offering of the scheme, but also will provide an active frontage to London Road.

We consider the design ethos of this student scheme achieves a high standard of architectural quality, whilst delivering a new development which provides a strong and contemporary addition to the public realm.

The development is expected to be ready for occupation for the academic year 2020/21.
