Former Garage Site Appeal Dismissal Overturned in Derby City Centre

GraceMachin have been successful in achieving planning consent for 2 new homes in Gedling despite the Council refusing planning permission only 6 months ago.
The developer client had purchased the site from a local property auction with the intention of quickly achieving planning permission and getting the development underway. However, they were severely disappointed when planning permission was refused by Gedling Borough Council.
"Our developer client is absolutely delighted to have received his planning permission"
George Machin, Partner, stated: "I hadn’t been involved with the previous refusal as this was by another company, but I took the job on because I genuinely felt that I could add some real value to the project.
"We work with Gedling Borough a great deal and following a meeting with the Council’s Officers in January, I felt confident that changes could be made to the proposed scheme to significantly increase the chances of the application being successful.
"Our developer client is absolutely delighted to have received his planning permission and I am sure we will work again for him on other projects in the future."
This decision by Gedling shows that a different approach and professional input from GraceMachin can pay dividends.
