Following a number of recent successes in achieving planning permission for family homes within Newark & Sherwood and specifically Hockerton, Nottinghamshire, GraceMachin Planning and Property were instructed to fully project manage the submission of a full planning application for the erection of a traditional four bedroom house.
In partnership with our client and an architectural practice based in South Yorkshire, a sensitive design incorporating local vernacular and traditional building materials was prepared and submitted within 3 weeks. During the formal consultation process no objections were raised to the application.
GraceMachin met with the Principal Planning Officer on site and had positive proactive discussions where the pre commencement conditions to be tied to the planning permission were agreed and a delegated planning approval was issued within the statutory 8 week period.
The actual timeline from submission to determination was only 4.5 weeks.
