Planning Approved - Padel Tennis Centre at Mansfield Town Football Club
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG18
Challenges facing our application included both Green Belt location and in a Conservation Area. However GraceMachin achieved full planning permission by delegated powers (without the need to go to Planning Committee) in August. GraceMachin undertook detailed consultations with Rushcliffe Borough planning & landscape officers to ensure the scheme could be carried out without detriment to existing trees, landscape, neighbours or Conservation Area.
The proposal will result in enhanced employment development on an established employment site, within in a village location but also in a strategically well-located situation close to the A46. The site is close to Bingham, a major centre of population in Rushcliffe Borough. We considered that the opportunity existed to make better and more effective use of this sustainable employment site.
We firmly believe that our scheme will contribute materially to the choice and variety of high quality employment land and buildings in Rushcliffe Borough, thereby meeting the Council’s stated economic development objectives.
The new business to be located on-site will specialise in the service, minor repair and visual inspection of sports prestige cars. Activities such as car valeting/cleaning and tyre fitting may also take place, but importantly no noisy powered machinery will be used. MOT Testing, only involving inspection and testing, will also be carried out.
Established in June 2012 by Chartered Town Planners Nick Grace and George Machin, our portfolio of work covers a wide breadth and scale of development; from single houses or replacement dwellings to large scale, mixed use, residential and commercial sites.
